Lauren Roberts started dancing at the age of 5 in Cornelius, NC where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and lyrical/contemporary dance at her studio and also participated in her high school's dance program. She attended Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC where she joined the WCU Dance Team and continued to foster her love and passion for dance. She majored in Recreational Therapy and minored in dance, with the hopes of the two coming together in her career. After graduating, she worked at the Boys and Girls Club of the Plateau as a program coordinator and gained experience working with children on diverse backgrounds and abilities. She moved to Raleigh, NC in 2023 and discovered DanceCollab, which came into her life at the perfect time and she has loved every minute of working with the organization. She is excited to continue sharing her love of dance with her students and becoming a more integral part of the organization as the administrative assistant.
